Wilson Park in Torrance California is a popular spot for workouts and sports activities for the residents in the sorrounding areas. This is also the place where an Asian American of Filipino descent while working out and a father and his kid was verbally abused with racist insults by Lena Hernandez but thanks to Sandy Roxas representing her victims is held accountable for her actions.

It is in this same spot where Asian Americans came together for the Asian American Heritage month to work out with professional workout coach and instructors, watch the performance of Taiko Drummers Mujo Creative, Pamana Kali Filipino martial arts demonstration, and guest speakers Supervisor Janice Hahn, Assemblyman Al Murasutchi, Tricia Murakawa El Camino Community College Trustee, and Torrance council member George Chen.
